Does anyone know the cheapest the Macbook Air 256GB model has been?

List price -200$, an additional -100$ if there happens to be a college student deal for it. (It's been a long time since they last promoted unconditional college discounts for macs)

Can anyone explain how the att next deal for an iPhone SE would work if I'm on a shared family plan? Is there a catch that I'd get $200 off for going on an installment plan? I can't imagine why they'd just give you $200 off for buying it on a payment plan unless there is an additional fee I'm missing somewhere...

I used to be on ATT family plan for 3 years (just switched to Verizon). Been on ATT Next program for 2 years--the installment plan you mentioned. No, there's zero catch for it. 0 down payment, 0 interest. It's 200$ off the grand total. You can rest assured. You can even opt out of the ATT cellular plan any time you want. But you still need to pay the monthly installment, just as if you are buying a product, not its service. But no matter how you pay it, the grand total is going to be the retail price -200$.

You may wanna ask why the carriers wanna do that? I suppose it's because all those carriers are in a heated war to win over customers. Any "switched-over" subscriptions are a win on paper.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately it appears the 64gb att model is pickup in store only and won't let me ship....no store within 250 miles of me. :( damn. $200 would have been a great deal.
