So we've all seen the threads about people who think the new iPhone only has 3GB of space... but I was over at Best Buy today and couldn't help but notice that they have accessories for the iPhone 3GB!

Unless of course it is a 3G Black. If you see a 3GW designation on anything that would be the answer to the question.

Why would a jacket that covers the entire part of the phone that is coloured specifically white/black need to also be coloured to match? The visible part of the phone with the jacket on is always black.

Lol I suppose... but you'd think they would just write "Black".... you know... instead of "Blue" haha. There was no 3GW anywhere near it.

What BB making a mistake? Have not heard of such a thing.. I was in one the other day and the "Employee" back at the Apple kiosk said, "What do you need?" then walked away....Great service back by great people?:(

I'm surprised this happened at BB myself. Those people are always so knowledgeable.

It seems half the people on this site mistakenly call the original iPhone a 2G.

yea this is where everything gets SO confusing!

the old iphone has been called
OG iphone (original gen)
2.5G iphone (because 2.5 is the speed the edge is declared to be on)
2G iphone (because apple representatives have actually labeled the other one as the second gen iphone, making the 3G technically the 3rd gen! i dunno what the 1G iphone is, but if you look at MR buyers guide they will tell you that a new iphone did come out...)

edit: apparently i haven't looked at th buyers guide in a while. according to that this is the 4th gen iphone??
