Maybe that was Steve Jobs's one more thing ... the 3GB iPhone 3G for $29.99.

SERIOUSLY, DUDE ! WHO THE HECK WORKS AT BEST BUY AND DOES NOW KNOW KNOW THAT IT'S CALLED 'iPhone 3G' AND ONLY 3GB WOULD BE CLEARLY INSUFFICIENT ??????? !!!!!!!!!

Didn't they have apple certified reps...Oh, wait that was CompUSA...and they went out of business here.

Ignorant sales people FTL...

I mean seriously though, I thought the sales people there were supposed to be trained and up-to-date on all merchandise on the floor.

If they are confused about an item like this, what else are they misinforming the average consumer about?

So we've all seen the threads about people who think the new iPhone only has 3GB of space... but I was over at Best Buy today and couldn't help but notice that they have accessories for the iPhone 3GB!

Yes and they say 3G on the box. I bought that exact one for my Iphone last weekend. But it was only $7.99 at my best buy!

Oh I see how it is! Not only are they misinforming consumers, but their ripping us off too!

Everybody boycott Best Buy Pembroke Pines.

There's got to be some formula...somewhere, that dictates how the prices are set according to average income in the area, sales tax, etc, etc.

This is why...whenever I go online to view ads like big lots, home depot, lowes...I always check a few different zip codes to find the best price.

:D

Yeah I wonder how that works too.
The heavily populated places tend to cost more.
(We're just outside of Miami here.)

Gas, for example, costs $4.19 here right now... but I was in Orlando two weeks ago and it was $3.92!!

I know, right?

Gas (Lowest in the area):
$3.84/gal Regular
$4.02/gal Mid-grade
$4.16/gal Premium
$4.61/gal Deisel
*Note that each of these prices are the lowest in the area in each grade, so they are from different stations.
Compliments to www.gasbuddy.com

But...on average, if we're just out I've noticed premium being closer to the $4.30-ish mark.

I don't get it.

edit...nevermind. I see it now.

Looks like my BB with no one even near the :apple: products. I have actually sold a couple of people on them myself while I was at BB. ;)
When I did actually talk to someone I knew just as much as he did. ;)
