I found no sale at all there. i even went to the Sale area, where they have reforms - at a whopping $20 off. This is bull. You should take this article off the MacRumors page - its a lie.

You have to:

Copy the deal code, so you can paste it upon check out
Click on the model you want
check out
answer all the questions, enter info etc. and there will
be a gray bar top left saying promotions
click on that bar and paste in the promo code
in the next window
continue check out

Lather and repeat!

I would NOT buy right now. Best Buy already had these for the same price this past week without the coupon code. They're just adding the hype of TODAY ONLY to get you to buy right now. There will be bigger discounts.

Numerous studies have shown that the discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday are NOT the best discounts of the year.

Then when are the best deals? I'd love to see some better than $50-100 off Apple Watch and $100-125 off iPad Air 2

Waiting on iPad mini 4 deals...
Target is offering a $100 Target giftcard on Black Friday

Can also get one for an apple watch. With that and the 5% you get with the target debit card, I can pick up an Apple Watch version for basically 510 after tax. Target cards are basically cash to me.

Haven't had much luck with Target on line in the past. They go to "out of stock online" pretty fast.

It looks like the deals on iPads are for the Air and Mini 2. Check out the BF ad...it specifically notes the Mini 2 and Air (NOT Air 2). Hopefully it does include the newer models, but if their ad is to be taken literally, it probably doesn't. Bummer.

You are looking at the wrong page. Later in the ad it details it out a bit more.

Would like to purchase some :apple:TV's for family. Anyone know of deals, online or off? Any store offering gift cards so I can buy one and use the card on another?

Target has had the better Apple related deals lately. Picked up a 32GB 6th gen iPod touch for $170 there on Sunday and also got a pair of Beats Solo2 wired headphones at Target today for just $76. They're also offering big gift card offers on the iPad and Apple Watch for Black Friday too as others have mentioned.

Off topic, but anybody have recommendations for TV deals this season? I'm interested in 65" or whatever the size is in that range. I will only be hooking an Apple TV up to it--we don't have cable, so I don't need a ton of bells-and-whistles. I haven't bought a tv in many years, so I appreciate the advice!

SAMs club has $150 off of the iPad Air 2. I bought a 64gb iPad Air 2 in August for 487 on tax free weekend. Staples may have a good deal as well.

Ok, yes I remember seeing that now. I think eBay will have them starting at $359 as well. thanks for the reminder!

Just bought a silver iPad Air 2 64gb. If you buy with a Amex you get 20 bucks cash back.

Can't wait to get into my new iPad. It's a awesome upgrade from my iPad mini.

I'm glad I caught this sale. I decided to get an iPad Air 2 for myself for Christmas so my wife can inherit my iPad Air. The iPad 2 she is using has become intolerably slow, she complains all the time about it. With my Air she is going to be much happier, and she can run ad blocking on it.

This is a good deal from Best Buy. Her company gets discounts through Apple for employees, but this deal was significantly better.

TL;DR? As it says: put an applicable item in your cart, use the promo code on checkout.

Sheesh, I have to learn to read? .... my bad. Thanks.

However, I will add that the sports one, at $399, still ends up at $350. Price point vs features, it just isn't there for me yet. Apparently like a few others...

That's awesome. The best part is that the Air is 64 bit so it's some what future proof and all of the current apps will run on it.

With any new Apple product, I never buy a first launch item. I'll always wait for at least a 2.0 version and it's pretty much confirmed that a new Apple watch is on the way. The current one is too fat.

I don't see anything wrong with buying a version one product. I, however, don't buy a new product until a month or two goes by after release. Manufacturing processes are improved daily, and kinks from a new product are ironed out as times goes by.

The real deals on iPads at Target ended last week. For example, they had the 64 GB WiFi Air 2 marked down to $539.10. There was a cartwheel coupon for 10% off select iPads that stacked with the 10% off coupon for signing up for their new Wishlist app. Add the 5% off for using a Red Card and it brought it down to a touch below $450 AFTER taxes.

Still kicking myself for not taking advantage of that price. I went to the store 3 times and hemmed and hawed, only to see them back up to full price a few days later.
