As it happens, Best Buy (hereafter referred to as BB) gets inventory trucks on Monday and Thursdays. My brother works in inventory in our local store, so I texted him to ask if the iAir2 was available.

The response: Yes, why not? (He had just processed a load including new iAir2s.)

I replied with the truth: It seems as though different BB stores around the country were selling them differently--some on Thursday, some on Friday.

He took a minute and said that for whatever reason, their store was waiting until the 24th instead of 23th.

Very disappointing.
 
I got my pickup notification yesterday afternoon. My original pick up date estimate was 11/5. My new Air 2 is hanging out with me as I type.
 
My 128gb wifi model was shipped out today, estimated delivery date is Monday, 10/27.

Same here. But after they sent me an email saying it will be delayed until November 21st.

I hope they end up delivering tomorrow since the warehouse it's coming from is only 4 hours away.

When did you place your pre-order? I placed mine on 10/18 for a 128gb space gray, at the time it said estimated arrival would be 10/26 (I thought it was weird that it was a Sunday), but still no movement beyond "Payment Validated" until today. Online, it says "Status not available".

10/18 as well. I'm getting it on Monday. Was hoping today. but oh well.

The wait is killing me. I have the same exact status yet when I call it says eta is nov 3. When I spoke with a rep two days I ago I was informed my era was oct 26

On top of that I would love to cancel and just pick it up at the store but I'm not able too
