Best Buy Price Match

Has anyone tried to price match at Best Buy and use coupons?

I've got a $150 edu coupon and Reward Zone credit to use. But they have rMBP's at full retail. With tax it's still not a very good deal. If they would match Amazon it would be another story.
 
Have you asked them?

I *believe* they price match other brick and mortar stores but not online stores.
 
I would be willing to bet that the coupon contains exclusionary language that says, in essence, "may not be combined with any other offer/discount/etc."

Good to know re price matching, though generally it's more advantageous to me to not have to pay sales tax.

Best Buy will price match Amazon. I have done it a couple times. I just use the Amazon iOS app to scan the bar code right in front of the sales rep and show them the price, then they call a manager over to approve it no questions asked.

Now I do not know if they will let you stack that price match with other coupons etc.
 
Like one person already said they will price match with Amazon. I've also been able to find a cheaper price on newegg while in Best Buy and they did match that price also.

Yes, you SHOULD be able to use your coupons or gift cards with an item that was price matched.. I have been able to a few times
 
They matched Newegg over the phone but I'm being told they can't take the student discount off of the matched price. One or the other.

Total at Best Buy is $1700 with tax. I passed. Maybe I'll try in the store.

It's a shame Newegg's return policy is limited.

They do match Amazon now. The sales guy was great and told me about it, and I saved $35 on a car radio because of it.
