Best Buy Reveals Black Friday Plans With Sitewide Sales Available Now

Black Friday sales are continuing today with Best Buy kicking off early Black Friday deals that will last for the next few days. Similar to other retailers, Best Buy's early Black Friday event includes sitewide savings on Apple products, headphones, TVs, monitors, video games, and more.

Best Buy's Black Friday Schedule

Best Buy's early Black Friday sale begins today, and new doorbusters will go online every Friday in November. On November 21, the retailer's Black Friday sale will officially begin and run through November 30. We've broken down the schedule below:

  • Friday 11/8: Doorbusters every Friday begins
  • 11/8 through 11/20: Early Black Friday deals
  • 11/21 through 11/30: Black Friday sale
  • 12/1 through 12/2: Cyber Monday sale

Best Buy's Early Black Friday Sale

You'll find plenty of Apple devices on sale during this event, including MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPad, MacBook Air, and more. Of course, there are plenty non-Apple products to shop as well, including the best prices of the year on select TVs and gaming laptops.



Some of these deals will require a My Best Buy Plus or Total membership, which begin at $49.99 per year. With My Best Buy Plus you will get free two day shipping, exclusive discounts, and an extended 60-day return window on most products.

Were there M3 MBP sales already during Black Friday last year? I feel like there were. Wondering if the base M4 might drop $100 to $1499 anywhere. That $1599 M3 Pro being the same as the M4 is an interesting proposition.

Its M3 Pro vs M4 AND 512 GB vs 256 GB and a bonus 2 GB of RAM.

I wasn't looking to buy but damn, I might have to.

The base 14-inch M4 MBP is $1,499.00 from Apple education.

Alternatively, you can wait for Apple's own Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale where they'll give you an Apple gift card. You'll pay the regular price ($1,599.00) for it if it qualifies for the offer and then you'll get a $150, $200, or maybe even a $250 Apple gift card... if they're feeling generous this year.

Last year, no MacBook Pros qualified for the offer.

Going by history, you could not combine Apple's Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale involving Apple gift cards with the education discount.

You could always buy Apple gift cards during Target's Black Friday sale. In years past, it was buy a $100 Apple gift card, get a $15 Target gift card. That's a 15% discount but only if you shop at Target and can use the Target gift cards. If you have a Target Red Card or Discover card, that's an additional 5% discount (or 5% cash back with Discover). That effectively is a 20% discount. Then use those gift cards at Apple Education store.

Buy 5 x $100 Apple gift cards (buy digital gift card from Target online vs physical gift card to avoid in-store tampering by thieves), get $75 in Target gift cards ($15 x 5), save 5% ($25) with Target Red Card / as Discover cash back. Buy base Mac mini for $499 at Apple education store. That's like paying $399 for it.
 
Here in the states if you want a particular bright MLA OLED TV, the LG G4 pricing dived on October 28th and is still low compared to earlier pricing this year. It's one of the top gaming displays also. $1,799.99/$2299.99/$3,499.99 USD (55"/65"/75").
This started because Costco BF pricing had the G4 on sale that low, so LG just went with that for Amazon, Best Buy and other dealers.

Comparably Sony 95 A95L MLA OLED still higher pricing, Samsung 95D pricing is close to LG's.

LG C4 pricing is about the same as last years LG C3 currently that this article mentions.

I don't see why not. I bought the M2 iPad Air with the Edu discount and received a $100 gift card.

No, I bought it during the Back to School promos. And I wasn't stating a fact, I was merely asking a question, why shouldn't this apply during their BF event?
 
What is the best deal objectively on a MacBook Pro or Air? I just dropped my M1 on a tile floor and destroyed it.
