Why does best buy charge $50 over what Apple, Att, etc. charge for a phone out of contract?

I was hoping to take advantage of the 12 month 0% interest

Thanks, I did reserve one, but will they price match when I pick it up or do I then have to call CS?

when I asked why they charge more, I was told so they can make money...they only what to sell the contract phones and not full price..

They make $100 per 2year contract and $0 if they resell only iPhones without contract.

Actually no need to purchase from BB, Apple has 12 months 0% until 9/30 using the Barclay card...done!

When I called they said they would price match as long as you show/bring in competitive pricing from Apple among others when paying/ picking up.

Just don't buy them there. I'm not seeing the problem. The sooner Best Buy goes out of business, the better.
I don't get this kinda of sentiment. Sure you may not like BBY and not shop there, but things won't get "better" in terms of competition if a large competitor like BBY goes out of business. You think Amazon will discount things forever when there is no competition.
