Best Buy Smart Keyboard available to ship

We are EST both have now shipped. Have tracking numbers for both keyboards. They will be to me on Friday. It is so sad that Apple totally botched this launch.

At this point... I think  has a lot under their plate. And I'd wager that they didn't think it would sell this much at this rate.

With all the "iPP can't replace a laptop" noise... You would think it would discourage potential buyers. But then perhaps...there's something that they are not telling.

I agree but they shouldn't have launched if they were not ready. To not have the main accessories available at launch is not acceptable. Hell even the local store has not received one keyboard. That's insane. The fact that Best Buy are receiving more stock then local Apple stores is really insane. Not to mention that web orders are not shipping. It really saddens me that it has been this unorganized.

By the way folks - looks like BB changed the "check stores" to "sold out online"...wonder if that means anything.

I disagree that Best Buy is receiving more stock... It's just giving the illusion that it is primarily due to their system is ready for pick up & shipping for customers. Yet,  hasn't made their system ready for online customers, but iPP is ready... Smh.

We have to open up a forum to allow customers know when  Stores have stock of iPP accessories... I honestly don't know what to think... Is it hype? Or is it really demand? But then when they are bypassing web orders to ship to stores makes me lean toward hype...

I placed on order from BB.com on Monday and recieved my Smart Keyboard this afternoon. As luck would have it my Apple.com order for the keyboard changed to prep for shipping about 30 min later and before I cancelled it. So, I'll return one of the two.

So far I really do like this keyboard. I was afriad I wouldn't based on the reviews it has recieved online, but I like it a lot. I've had the 12" Macbook since launch and also purchased the new Magic Keyboard for my Mac Mini, so I think using both of those exclusively for the past little while have gotten me a bit accustomed to shallow keys.

I got lucky and order via bb.co this morning at 7am. Comes Friday.

I do not understand Apple's botched launches.

This reminds me of the Macbook launch where BB had more supply than apple at retail.
