Best Buy Store Manager told me...

I just got off the phone with the store manager at my Best Buy. He said the iPad2 will NOT be released until 5 pm local time. He also added that all store managers were told that ANY Best Buy with iPad2's rang up before 5 pm will lose it's privileges to sell Apple products.

Also, there will be no tickets or numbers handed out prior to the release at 5 pm.

Well honestly, that's better for me. I won't have to worry about tickerts, etc.. Just a line. I'll leave work at 4:00/4:30, hop over to the best buy and check out the scene. I doubt many people are going to get the 64GB 3G AT&T anyhow 🙂.
