Gazelle.com doesn't charge money to ship it to them. It's easier dealing with them than to deal with potential scammers on eBay or Craigslist.

why not just sell on craigslist or ebay and make even more cash? why waste an upgrade like that and lock yourself in for another 2 years???

Because im not leaving at&t anytime soon, I have 7 lines still have 2 lines eligible for upgrade this year, and its just alot easier. I looked on gazelle and they would only give me $130 per phone (compared to$ 300 at best buy) and on craigs list or ebay they are going for$ 200-$300.

Plus$ 180 for an ipad 2 64gb wifi is worth giving up the upgrades on 2 lines.

Yeah, once they receive your iPhone they will send you a very low offer.
And if you don't agree to it good luck trying to get it back.

I've used Gazelle twice and have had no problems. From their FAQ's,

"I declined my item, how long does it take for this to be returned to me?

If your offer was revised and you declined the new offer, we are happy to ship your item back to you for free. You will receive an email from us letting you know your item is on its way back. This typically takes place in 3 to 5 days."

So is your claim that they are straight up lying?

I just came across many people that got played by them that's all. Offcourse at their site they will claim they are 100% legit and don't try to screw people.
Up to you though, it's your item.
