What do you think is the best camera app for iPhone 8 Plus?

I have seen some people here using PureShot. But more people seem to use VSCO, Camera+, ProCamera...etc.

So which is the best to take great quality picture, if possible to take it in HEIF.

Camera+ is a popular choice. It also recently got updated for to use the depth data on the dual cameras (IE portrait mode) and also now supports HEIF.

And for a long time also allows shooting in RAW.

What is so good about ProCam 5 compare to others like PureShot or Camera +?

I left Camera+ such a long time ago because it felt like it hadn't seen an update in forever.

Reasons I love it:

You can change the UI color.
It has smart AF tracking.
It has a plethora of shooting options.

I don't know what Camera+ has now. But I haven't had it on my phone in a long while and don't miss it.

Also, I'm in the Testflight and I'm happy to beta test an app I love.

I have Procam, Procamera and PureShot on my phone. I shoot almost exclusively in raw. I use PureShot 99.99% of the time. I’ll uninstall the other two apps.
I’ve been using PureShot since I got my 7 Plus.
When I just want to pop off a couple of quick snaps (jpg) I use the native app.

If you aren’t shooting in Raw the stock Camera app might be in top 2. Some recent shots it bright sunlight the Camera app beat ProCam hands down. I don’t use HEIC & allow HDR & Normal photo.

What makes PureShot better?

Didn’t say it’s better. It’s just that I use it by far the most. I’m use to it and comfortable using it on the fly. Procam is good also. Both have focus peaking which is important to me.

This is a good question and i wish people had better reasons than changing the UI color.
