Hey guys,

This might sound like an old question, but the amount of camera apps on the App Store is really insane.

Anyways, long story short, I would like to purchase the best (period) camera app to use mostly for video recording. I need something that (if possible) allows me to control the white balance. I record a lot of screens/displays and, if not properly pre-configured, the automatic white balance messes up the colors. Raw photography would a great plus!

In case it matters, I have an iPhone 7 (4.7")

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance, Federico

I imagine most manual camera apps support White Balance setting in video mode. As a developer of Camera++ I would be happy if you had a look at my app, see if you like it. For video you have MOV/MP4 containers, video quality selector (where MAX means keyframe video only with double, compared to high, bit rate). All manual controls work in video mode too. To lock WB on grey card, use long press on White balance icon while holding grey card in front of the camera. The app also supports RAW capture of course :) There is a free (low res, without RAW support) version to check if you like the UI, how camera behaves. If you do like you can use IAP or buy full version.
