I usually go with Spigen cases and have liked them for a long time. However, I think I might go for a leather case this time around. I don't like the Apple ones because they have the logo. I might go with a Nomad Rugged Case.

It's strange that they don't have any of the leather cases available at launch. That's the one I'm getting for the 12 PM! A brown leather case.

Another spigen fan here - good quality for a low price and the clear ones are excellent, and you get to see the actual phone front and back!

Apple ones are absolutely terrible quality, no protection and 4 times the price.

Ringke and Speck are my go to cases. I usually get the Speck Presidio Grip but this time I'm going with Ringke's fusion x camo and onyx cases for the 12 pro.

I bought a Smartish Kung Fu Grip case. Simple, inexpensive and durable. Great basic case.

Genuine Apple leather cases go live November 6th for all models.

Until then I've ordered a silicone Plum case - will probably return it once I've ordered the leather one I want.

They look really nice. How do they feel? I already ordered an apple silicone but might reconsider.
They feel very premium in my opinion. I've used both the Sheath and Veil (ultra thin)
The Sheath is thin, comfortable, and minimal without sacrificing shock absorption in case its dropped.
The Veil is an ultra thin case that also has a gritty/textured feeling. It covers scratches, but definitely not made for any drop protection. As I've gotten older, I really appreciate thin, lightweight and minimal cases without any added bulk, so I've been using the Veil a lot more. But if its too thin for you (literally just a thin plastic) i'd honestly go for the Sheath.

I'm a Caudabe fan too — I've had the Lucid Clear on my iPhone for three years, but I'd like something less smooth this time. Has anyone here used the Caudabe Synthesis, which they say is their most protective case?

I was considering the Apple silicone case, but not sure if the MagSafe feature makes a real difference. It's not as if I'll be removing the phone from the case often.

Ended up ordering the Speck Presidio2 Grip (Graphite Gray and Red) case!

I have been a Pitaka fan for the past 5-6 iPhones. I have their mag case on my 11ProMax and just ordered their Air for my 12ProMax (magsafe compatible). Never had an issue, they're great minimalist cases and they look phenomenal.

Is there a bottom lip on the Pitaka Air? I've seen pictures where the bottom of the phone is exposed. Not sure if thse new 2020 IP12 cases have the bottom lip or if its exposed.

From the pics it appears the bottom is mostly exposed, which is necessary for the port and speakers.
