Apple leather cases are the best in my opinion. I'd go with a cheap case off of Amazon (Spigen is my go to) until I can get an Apple Leather case. Avoid the Apple silicone cases - lint from your pocket sticks to them and the outer coating starts to rub off after a few weeks.

the new, more square version of the synthesis looks good too.

Too many darn options

As always, right? I like the look for the Synthesis too, especially the way it protects the camera lens area. From the pics, it looks like the case is thicker on both sides, so the lenses are slightly recessed. In the Sheath, there's a rim around them. The Caudabe website also doesn't say how much these cases add to overall thickness.

I ordered the Lucid Clear from Caudabe. From the site: "An ultra slim, crystal clear case manufactured from the same impact resistant thermoplastic polymer used in bulletproof glass. Lucid Clear is perfect for protecting against everyday drops while showing off your iPhone's sleek design in stunning clarity. Compatible with wireless charging."

The plan is to use that until I find something I really love!

I’m a big fan of Peel cases and screen protectors... ultra thin, light, and a good color selection. Not too pricey.

I got the Speck Presidio 2 Grip Clear... its good and like it overall but am I the only one that thinks the buttons should come out more (i.e. not so recessed)?
