Best Case for MBA 11"

I have a MacBook Air and I almost always carry my external around with me and I'm looking for case that provides protection along with a pocket/compartment to store my external hard drive.

Also this case will be carried in my backpack and/or just carried on its own

This is the only case I have found so far for the Air with compartments

hahah you bought a super light/.slim device only to carry more hw around....

Try the waterfield design sleevecase. Its got a pocket on the back which should fit your external drive.
