What are people's thoughts on the best case for the Pro Max? I am looking for the best mixture of protection, style and a slim design. I bought a £7 Spigen clear case to test with the phone whilst deciding whether to keep it and it is actually really nice, however it does not have much of a lip so I assume if dropped and lands face down there will be all but no protection for the screen. I have used a Mous Limitless case on my XR and it is super protective but a little bulky so naturally with the Pro Max being bigger I want to get as slim a case as possible. I have just ordered an Apple silicone case and a clear one for testing. I certainly think the latter will be going back as I have heard it is not particularly protective and quite slippery, but the other is an unknown quantity.

Advice and opinions welcomed.

These are my current cases I'm using. They're lightweight, cheap and although I haven't dropped my phone yet (knock on wood) from the videos I've seen, they seem to protect decently. Also, they all have nice camera and screen lips. That's important to me in a case.

This Incipio is, and has been one of my all time favorites, it's a bit heavier than my other cases, but I've used them for a few years now and they're great cases:

I really want to like that design, I think they look great with a nice patina, but the open bottom lip just screams scratches to me. I've seen some phones with and some without scratches from those type of cases and with my luck, well you know...

Well I tried these two cases and they are going straight back, awful waste of money. Clear one is good but no different to a £7 spigen one. Other one offers no protection other than from scratches, no lip and no strength.

You’re right, I’ve never had any interest in Apple cases, you can definitely get better at a fraction of the price.

I've heard PITAKA cases are quite good. Very thin and made from some special bulletproof material with 13 feet drop protection. They have good grip and carbonfiber soft feel, but not made of leather however if that's a must.
