Alright, to give you guys the an update (if wanted), I have tried out iSkin Solo, Speck CandyShell and SE Rebel:

SE Rebel (got the white one, not serpent): Very nice case, with use the bottom lip of rubber will sag, exposing chrome there. But in terms protection its top notch! For the price its the best deal: 2 screen protectors (probably worth 7-10$ by themselves), dock port cover, small cleaning cloth, movie stand (probably wont use), and finally a docking adapter!!<-- THIS actually allows me to dock my iphone with the cases on, with the universal dock (btw which I managed to get for 30$! as opposed to its 60$ price from apple). I can dock all three of the cases with this dock adapter. Though this case is good in terms of protection, and great for its value. It feels great in my hands (just the right texture, not too slippery). I will probably use it in the summer, but it is a little flashy (attention getter) for me. I like a low key case for my profession.

iSkin Solo (got the black one, because the white one apparently get stains on it with use): FANTASTIC. Though it lacks hard case protection, it does have enough rubber to crush if dropped. Very plain look, which I like. Its not silicone, more of a smooth but grippy rubber, so it feel good in hand to hold but it does not collect lint. Also its very form fitting and the inside of this case is a softer rubber (so nothing is going to scratch it inside there). Since it fits so nicely, dust is unlikely to get in there, so I can leave it on for longer periods of time. I really really like this case. Also, the part above the dock connector (the part I mention that will sag on the rebel), it has perfect amount of tightness, and it seems like it will not sag with time. Also it cover the chrome (which is a nice design for all around protection).

CandyShell (white/red one): I was surprised when I got this case. I really expected this case to be better than what I got. Concept of the case is great, but quality control of this case was ridiculous. The hold button had a scratch on it, the rubbery part that are on the corners were not even in a straight cut (ie they were wavey). Also like many have mentioned, the button covers are really tight, I can barely feel the tactile feedback (tactile feed back with iSkin was great, with the rebel it was a little worse than the iSkin's but still much better than the CandyShell's). But, from far away where you can not notice the imperfections, this case looked that most sophisticated and sharp (i.e. had qualities of the rebel and iskin). Bulkyness of this case is similar to that of Rebel. One thing that I must mention is that the earphone cutout and camera cutout are not flush with the case, there is a gap between the inner part of the case and the phone itself, so there is definitely going to be a build up of dust inside of the case (unlike the solo), so cleaning weekly WILL be necessary. For the final cost of $50 canadian, I really dont think this case was a bargain at all. I mean speck has to increase this quality control for these cases (I am not trying to bash Speck in general, because I really like their clear case that I use on my 15in unibody MBP), its just that cost can not be justified for the candyshell for what you are getting. Overall, not satisfied, I will probably return this case.

Speck was the easiest of put on, followed by iSkin and then the rebel. In terms of taking off, iSkin was the easiest, and then the rebel and the candy shell were equally bad at taking off.

Arbitrary rating:

Rebel: 8.5 (almost 9)/10
iSkin: 9/10
CandyShell: 7.5/10

Do you guys know of anymore cases that have similar features to the iSkin solo?

Also has anymore tried the iSkin solo with the Marware CEO or the Incase Folio (does it fit in there?). I tried the 3 cases above with the DLO Hipcase for iPhone, and it does not fit at all.
