What is your best Channel/App you watch on Apple TV?

I use Netflix, Amazon, ESPN, CNN & Fox news without all the commericals

tvplayer has been a godsend since building work started at my house

they managed to wreck the sat dish and tv aerial

Just about the only things I watch on my Apple TV are iTunes movie and TV purchases and CBS All Access. I can watch every other streaming service on my TIVO without having to change my TV input and with a far better remote.

I use HULU (no commercial version) and I upgraded to Hulu live back in the fall so I could watch College Football. Now I am thinking about going back to regular Hulu with no commercials of course. And then Netflix. 45 bucks for the Hulu live and 11 for the Netflix I have a digital antenna so I get network TV (that I have not watched in 20 years!) but just in case there is some college football game that ESPN does not have total monopoly over I keep the antenna hooked up...

I have a headless MacBook Pro that contains all my ripped Movies and home movies so I use computer sharing also. That is the extent of every bit of programming / apps I use on my 4th Gen ATV

I realize that this is more of a single source question but my favorite is a combo of the fannnnnntastic Channels App (with DVR) + HDHomeRun boxes for HD video sources with DD 5.1 surround sound. Prior to going with that, my TVs were used as secondary devices (for Netflix, YouTube, iTunes rentals, etc). After getting Channels & HomeRuns set up, they’re about 100 TIMES more useful now.

I suspect a lot of people overlook Channels because they can't imagine spending a whopping $25 for an app , but wow what a terrific app to make TV become THE main device for enjoying television.

Most used... Netflix, Apple Music, Channels (hdhomerun & antenna to get my local channels) and NBC sports app for my local sports. The rest depends on what shows I'm watching at the moment... HBO, Showtime, AMC, Prime Video, whatever other network app.
