Best coding settings for air 2

Hello
I'm wondering what would be the best settings for video codec energy-efficient wise for air 2 ?
What is preferred video profile for air 2 playback?
In other words - what type of hardware decoder, if any, is on board of air 2?
To my understanding and experience 720p is just enough - providing we are using HandBrake - what would you set for energy efficient playback?

Ps. English is not my first language - my apologies.
