I've been using the unarchiver since I switched to a mac, but I find it much more limiting than iZarc on Windows. For instance, when I tried to extract a password protect file, it just extracted a bunch of 0kb files because it doesn't ask for passwords. Also, there's no way to browse the achieve. If it's a 2Gb archive and you only need 1 file, too bad, you need to extract everything and then deleted the unndeed. Is there a more powerful compression application on the mac.
 
Stuffit Expander is the best (it's free too.) Handles passwords fine.

Stuffit Deluxe lets you view archive contents and fancy stuff like that.
