I have a Windows computer that has a TV tuner card in it, and it records HD video with a .TS extension. I'd like to get these into iTunes on my Mac, so I was wondering what would be the best conversion preset to use. I don't think I'd ever copy any of these to my iPhone/iPad, so file size really isn't an issue. And some of these files are in the 20-25GB range. I'd just like to retain the video quality...

Thanks...

The only reason Optimized is not part of any of the HB presets is that it increases muxing time, which folks complain about. It has no downside besides increasing the time of encode a bit.

Since I have a fast computer AND do large encodes overnight while I'm asleep, extra time doesn't matter much 🙂
