Nice deals on the M2 iPad Pros. I'd say the M2 11" is worth the $100 over the M1 11" at this point. I love the pencil hover feature and I'm certain the extra CPU and graphics headroom will prove useful in the coming years.

Would be nice if macrumors reported on what apple products are reduced (special offers) in the UK? Oh I know why? Apple dealers in the UK never reduce.

For someone who doesn’t go hardcore with iPads (I don’t even have a pencil) and uses it to read, watch sports/tv and play games, would the Air be better than the pro? I’m thinking about either the mini or the air and I’m updating an iPad from 2015.

Also thank you Mac rumors for finally putting this article up.

if you’re not used to promotion, you’re not going to miss it.
only thing is maybe the quad speakers on the pro for watching your sports/tv.

The Air 5 is great though

What do you mean "promotion". I probably wouldn't need the latest and greatest Ipad, and I don't really want to pay more than 600 for it. That's why I was thinking about the Air. I guess my question is when would you buy the Pro vs when would you buy the Air.

The refresh rate is up to 120hz and very smooth. It’s nice, makes scrolling websites and some other things a bit nicer.

I recently sold my 12.9 iPad. I just didn’t use it enough to justify it. I might like the 11 inch better but I have had 3 iPads and barely used them so not sure it’s the device for me.

The Air is a great choice for consumption. Bear in mind the size of your storage. I mainly use an iPad Pro myself, but don't want to carry it outside me with, so I traded in some stuff to get an Air. The Air has become a favorite of mine to watch videos & play games on when away from home. The only issue being is I have to play the 'editing' game taking content off & on.

As mentioned, Promotion is about the refresh rate. If you haven't seen it yet, you aren't going to miss it going with the Air.

I’d be nice that all merchants were included. MicroCenter has the iPad 10th gen for $399 all colors available.

To be honest if I’m not making any money sharing certain retailers links then I wouldn’t. This isn’t a deals site.

He/she means ProMotion. I was super confused for a second there too.😵‍💫

So I’m looking at the different iPads and I’m thinking the mini, air or regular iPad. Why would one buy one over the other or does it really just come down to the chip. I have an M1 Mac Air I bought in at of 2021 and it’s been pretty good. I’m just kinda confused on the various iPads and the 270 Amazon sale looks tempting.

Thanks for reminding me to look at Microcenter - saved another $20 on a 2022 ipad for my wife.
