Well, the original iMac saved the company so I'd have to vote that Apple's best design. It touched many, many, many people to their core.

Then I'd have to vote for the iPod as that created a whole new industry.

Lastly, OS X. Switching from propriety code to UNIX was revolutionary (even though UNIX was old school technology).

1. iMac
2. iPod
3. OS X

1. iMac G3

2. The curren MacBook

3. 2G iPod minis (best ipod yet ;) )

For some reason, i love working on the G3s. Theyre still great computers!

in no particular order
1 iPod (if i have to choose one model in particular, it'd be the 3rd gen all-touch iPod)
2 iMac G5 (all models since then including the current one)
3 iPhone

Original Powerbook G4*
G4 iMac
iPod Nano 1G
iphone

i think mine are more based on the social impact of the new design. for example that imac was on the cover of time.

*EDIT: on that basis the iphone should be on there, but i personally love that original powerbook, i guess it is the personal choice.

Top 5

1. iMacs (G5,Intel both plastic and aluminum)
2. MacBooks, MacBook Pros, PowerBooks G4.
3. iPhone
4. PowerMac G5/MacPro
5. TAM (Twentieth Anniversary Mac)

Reasons: The iMacs are just marvelous, the MacBooks, MacBook Pros and PB G4 truly are the most beautiful laptops in the world, the iPhone is sooo fancy yet simple and elegant, the PowerMacs (G5) and MacPros are by far the coolest looking towers in the world, and last, the TAM was (besides crappy hehe) really fancy, paired up with Bose's audio and things it included, it was like the rough draft of current iMac design. :apple:
BTW: 3 weren't enough for me so I put my top 5, if you wish ignore the last 2 hehe

iMac G4. I see many has voted for this one in this thread, and for good reason. It's design is mindblowing, even today.

iPhone. Yes, there's some flaws in it's design (chrome bevel? Who thought that one up? And the ugly black bottom (yes I know it's necessary for the phone antennae)), but as a whole it's just mindblowing. The first time I took it out of the box and held it in my hand, it's just unbelievable how sleek and cool it is.

And finally, the one that held it all together... OS X. Best operating system ever.

Honorable mentions:

1G iPod nano. It was so sexy even I wanted one! (I'm Deaf)

PowerBook G4 Titanium. When I first saw it, I decided to switch to Macs. Yes it was that good.

PowerBook G4 12". It's an awesome sight to see. I wish they didn't drop the 12" from the MacBook Pro lineup.

MacBook Pro. The dumpage of the 12" withstanding, it's an awesome design, being the first with a built-in iSight, and all that stuff from the aluminum PowerBook G4s.

Apple Pro Keyboard (black keys)

I really liked the black/clear mouse that went with it, very elegant. I felt it lost something when it went white. I even spent £50 on one (crazy now)!

PowerBook G4 Titanium. When I first saw it, I decided to switch to Macs. Yes it was that good.

Hear, hear!

Gorgeous machine, the two tone finish looked great, the trackpad looked great, the speakers looked great, the black keys against the sleek titanium looked amazing and the proportions were perfect. The leap from the previous model (the long serving, plastic G3 model (which itself was very nice) was amazing) It also came at a time when Mac OS X was on the horizon and announced alongside iTunes. Dreamy computer nostalgia…

I prefer it to the MacBook Pro 15". I know Titanium was dropped because it was expensive (Apple would never reveal what percentage of the cost went on obtaining the Ti), but damn it was cool! (Side Profile)

The Aluminum Powerbooks were much better looking then the Ti. I also think the Quicksilver case was good. Apple mice have always sucked.

1. New iPod Nano (amazing in person)
2. Aluminum Powerbook G4 12 inch. (I LOVE mine to death)
3. Mac Pro (particularly the internals. Great design imho)

imac indigo
imac G4
OSX
aluminium keyboard

not in order but the best products from apple seen as design imo

iPhone
Aluminum Keyboard
Macbook Pro
iMac Aluminum
Apple Packaging
iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen
iPod Video 5th Gen

i for one hate that (i think iMac G4) where there is the big ball on the bottom. I think it looks bulbus and not very appealing, but thats just my opinion ;)
