Best DLNA app?

So far I'm using media connect and it's mostly great but it does crash, any suggestions from you guys?

No affiliation but I seen no one else has responded here.

I use http://www.serviio.org for streaming to my Xbox One which now has DLNA support. There's a free and paid version, I use the free one at this time since the Pro features aren't needed for my use case.

For a client? I use 8Player. It has a strange interface, but it offers to open videos in VLC if the built-in video player can't handle them.

There's a free version, but it can only play the first few videos in each folder.
