I need to rip some audio CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays, and I was wondering what the best external drive would be. I'll be using it with a Mac Studio.

Sorry, I didn't explain too well. I'm currently after an external Blu-ray drive, not an external SSD drive.
Running a LG BH16NS40 in an OWC case under Windows 11 ARM. And an ancient DVD drive on Mac OS.
If you plan to rip 4K UHD content, looking for a drive that works with the software you want to use might be the first step (aka can be downgraded.)
