Im thinking on getting an external SSD to install bootcamp on it and play some games.
I noticed that the popular choice by many is the samsung t3 external ssd, but it has read and write speed of 400mbs... how much read and write speed does fusion drive have while in bootcamp?

Any other good budget external ssd's worth checking?

My understanding is boot camp will not see or use the SSD in the fusion drive so speeds will be those of the regular spinning hard drive while in bootcamp. As in slow.
[doublepost=1498221433][/doublepost]If your looking to save money you can play games from an external drive (I'd say USB 3 min) and buy a smaller SSD for just windows. Or just put windows on the fusion drive and see how it treats you.

I run games from an external hard drive and they take longer to start (compared to the SSD) but are fine once going.
