One thats not apple time capsule. I'm looking for one 1-2 tb and it has to be reliable. After reading reviews, reliability seems like a bit of a crapshoot. Sometimes these external drives work, sometimes they just fail. I've looked at western digital and seagate and reliability seems wishy washy with both. Some good, some bad.

Is there a cheapish one (not $300) that is wireless or i could connect to my wireless router and do backups wirelessly? These bad reviews worry me so much i'm almost thinking about getting another 'nother hard drive to do redundant backups. Man i'm paranoid.

No platter-based hard drive is more reliable than any other. Buy the one with the best warranty that fits your budget and price range, or buy an SSD.
