I have a 500 GB Western Digital MyBook Pro. It's got USB 2.0, FW 400 & FW 800. Its relatively quiet and very fast so I can run games off it in boot camp with no difference in performance.
I really like my OWC Mercury Elite from http://www.macsales.com. It has a Seagate drive inside, but it's more than just a Seagate drive. It has a beautiful aluminum case, great Oxford chipset, and a nice USB2/Firewire 400 option on back. Highly recommended.
