Very instructive. It's clear that only Australians make completely ridiculous mistakes. Nobody from any other country would do something so foolish or uninformed. 😉

Unless, of course, you ask American students to find Australia on a map. 🙄

Back when I was younger, I moved a lot since my dad was in the military. When I moved to upstate New York, I went to "social studies" and on day one of the TENTH grade was handed a map of the USA. The assignment, identify the states. So I did it in under a minute or two, like you're supposed to. I turned it in and asked what's next? The teacher said, ah, you're new here. Here's a hall pass, this will take these guys the whole period, and most won't finish.

We're not exactly awesome. 🙂
 
A few more math fails, okay, the second one isn't really a fail, but it is still funny (and I am sure that at least one of these has been posted before).

as an australian, id have to completely disagree. you americans are not any better trust me.
