Best fan control software app for M1's?

Mostly want the ability to have the fans turn on a bit earlier rather than letting these machines get hot.

Best simple app to set fan curves to say like, set fan @ 4000rpm if temp hits 90c?

I see Mac Fan Control is on sale now for $10. Fairly limited though.

iStat is on sale for $3 which could also be an option but not too familiar with how they handle fan control.

Playing around with istat menus right now and sort of hate it. Just such a huge interface and I don't even see a place to control fan curves

It's under Sensors > Fans. If you go to the iStat Menus main interface > Sensors > Edit Fan Rules, you can set the rules for fan curves. Agree that it's confusing.
