I am excited to get the new phone like most enthusiast here. I'm going from a 128 6 Plus gold to the 7 plus 128 black. I like the jet by I predict many getting upset with how easy it may scratch. Even with this the 6 plus it is fast, good battery life (especially after deleting Facebook) and reliable. I am also jailbroken and ideally keep my phone this way for certain tweaks I really like. I will be giving it up for the new phone for a while unfortunately.

I have had iPhones since the first release. I did switch, or rather, also use an Android for about a year swapping the sims back and forth but the refinement of the of iOS and the hardware in general is hard to deviate from. Not to mention integration with my MBP.

Anyway, are is your most favorite feature(s) of the 7 or 7 plus? I think the camera and processor speed are mine. It's obviously not a huge upgrade from the 6 plus but from what have read / benchmarks for the new processors and most likely 3gb of ram should make this phone smoking fast. The new cameras / sensors are also really nice for a phone.

I think it's a good upgrade from the 6+, just not from the 6s+. Plus if your 6/6+ is pif the trade in of $650 in credits on a 24 month installment plan with all the carriers is a good deal.

I honestly have not looked into the trade-in options from AT&T. They have always been so bad in the past so I sell or give to a family member.

It's a promotion for the new 7/7+. Pretty much giving you $650 for your 6/6+ towards a 24/30 month Next installment plan. Each carrier is offering this promotion to keep customers from switching

That is more than I can sell probably sell it for by $100. I will look into this. It is very good condition.

The promotion might end on the 15th or 16th or undetermined. The reps can't seem to be consistant on the end date. Anyone who pre ordered before launch are eligible. When you receive your new phone, you just go in to the store and turn in your 6/6+ and they activate the promotion on your line.

It's difficult to say as I haven't used any of them but the dual lens camera, the force touch home button sounds interesting and the water resistance.

^This. Camera, force touch and to little lesser extent, water resistance.

Battery life?

I'm moving from iPhone 6 to 7+... The proof the battery on smaller device is too small is the battery case that Apple made... I would rather keep my 4.7" and a bit thicker phone than moving to a bigger 5.5 with huge bezels / borders just because of battery but we'll Apple decides for you...

A10 fusion (including 3 gigs of RAM), camera, water resistance, and a couple more :p

2x volume. I'd never listen to music that way or use it this way in a public place, but it will be handy for podcast listening (which I do a LOT) in the house when my iPad isn't to hand.

3gb RAM (is it ABSOLUTELY confirmed?), superb. Main reason I ditched my 6 Plus and rarely used Air 1 was lack of it and the chronic instability (ime) that ensued.

Not specifically phone but....

AirPods. I've used wireless since 2011 (Sony MW600s originally). Can understand some grumblings about them but...

-The price is to be expected compared to other like products (Moto Verve Life Ones, Bragi, Samsung etc).

-I don't like the design much and I don't expect great quality audio, but do expect more than adequate quality for podcasts - I only listen to music at gym where I'll continue to use my Plantronic BackBeat Go 2's.

-Battery life is fine. My Plantronics have similar battery life, never been a problem for me, and the quick recharge will eliminate the problem for my usage.

-My only issue is lack of playback controls (Siri, meh), mainly skip forward through ads in Overcast, but I'll work around it, as these are the kind of wireless earbuds I've wanted for a looooong time.

I can't wait for the stereo speakers. Thats my personal best feature of the iPhone. I watch a lot of YouTube on my iPhone and the additional speaker would makes a huge step forward.

definitely this. can't wait to hear how much it has improved.

also the 25% brighter display, for use in sunlight.

It's courage.

J/k, probably improved brightness and color support. Maybe water resistance. I would say processing power, but Apple's silicon was already so far ahead of everyone else, that it's less compelling, oddly enough.

i love street photography and an iPhone has been perfect for me these last two years.

i upgrade for the advancements in the camera mainly.

i have the 6s+ with the 7+ on order, in stealth matte black and portrait camera (eventually). I can't wait.

iPhone 6 has 1810 mAh and iPhone 7 has 1960 mAh. With the new two high efficiency Cores you should get 2:30 Hours of more run time...Which is still great... i prefer the 7 Plus because of the design and Overall i like big Screens :) but wont end up buying one cause i have iPhone 6s .

The bump to 128gb is cool, but for me it's all about the iPhone 7 Plus dual camera. I shoot with my iPhone 6s Plus 90% of the time, so to have a dedicate portrait lens? Anything that makes my day-to-day photography gear less complicated is a massive win...

Intrigued by the new home button as well...
