when I upload a 2k video to either vimeo or youtube the highest res choice i have is 1080p. Can I get a higher final render than that? I use imovie. Just got Final cut pro. Havent created a video with fcp yet.

2k video is 2048x1080 so the iMovie option is correct. What are you looking for?

I am a fairly good photographer/videographer. I've recently started to focus on video. I have been using imovie but have started to learn Final Cut for obvious reasons. The quality of many gopro(which is what i use) youtube videos have a better looking resolution then what I have done.
