I am looking for a simple financial app with several must haves,

    overall balance
way to add income and expenses

and several things that would be nice,

notifications that alert you when a payment is due
    great looking interface (like spendee)

I have found spendee, budgt, and dollarbird to be the ones I like the most at least from the screenshots and description but I don't know if they have overall balance.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Also I forgot to mention I have tried Mint and it is too complex and has too many features I do not need.

Dollarbird is a good choice, it's very simple to use and has everything you mentioned and some cool extras:

    - overall balance (shown in figures as well as a graph)
    - adding expenses and incomes is very easy + you can set them to be recurrent (like your salary or rent)
    - you can set alerts for your bills

Compared to the other apps, this one also lets you project your cash flow and see how your balance would be shaping in the future. It looks great plus it has the calendar interface that makes it very easy to use it.

Bah! This has always been a struggle finding a good money app. Trust me I have tried them all.

I used Money Whiz for awhile, but it was limited.

Best one I have found that fit my needs were Toshl Finance. Try it out!

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here and I have been looking for some forums on where I can get ideas for topics such as this one, a thread on Financial Apps that are similar to desktop financial software. Thanks.
