I was doing some reorganizing of my email and started to wonder if I could be using a better font that would improve readability considering the significant amount of time I spend reading and answering emails. The goal is really twofold:

    1. The font should be professional, but in line with my goal of improving readability and reducing any eyestrain.

    2. I would like the font to print out in an equally professional manner. Here I just want to make sure the font is not going to print out in huge letters or look very different, which some tend to do when you make the transition from reading the email online to reading it on paper.

The tricky part I have noticed is several of the fonts that look very nice online are only readable if they are at least 14 or 15 point, which obviously is huge when I go to print go copy and paste into a word document.

I would really appreciate as many viewpoints on this as possible along with at least some rationale why. Thanks

i like helvetica or times new roman for the face
i dislike anything smaller that 16 pt. -- no matter what face it's in.
