I have Little Snitch installed on my Macs. And every time I visit websites there are countless connection requests which I'm tired of. Usually I deny. So would an ad blocker solve this? If so which are the best free ones, TIA

Try installing the Brave browser. It has built in ad controls.
Is this it?

Interestingly both Safari and Chrome said the following when trying to visit the site:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from brave.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

if you have an Asus router, install Asus-wrtMerlin firmware amd run amtm to install Diversion - that’ll give you an ad blocker at router level for all your wifi connections.

A bit off-topic perhaps, but do also try "Hush" for a cookie-pop-up-permission-free browsing experience.
Can't say how much I love this little gem (I am not connected to the Hush developer in any way).

Open source. Completely free. No data collection or tracking. This is the good stuff.

uBlock Origin is the king and OG of all ad blockers. It's unbeatable. It works on everything except Safari. It works BEST on Firefox (which also, coincidentally, is the best browser).
