Hi guys,

I don't see much talk about games around here but maybe I missed the section. I'm new so please forgive me.

Anyway, my mother has an iPad and loves match 3 and hidden object type games but I'm wondering if there are any simple platformers out there. Like super easy without much precision or reaction time required.

Even if it's not a platformer but just something different from the types I mentioned. Something simple and fun for an older woman.

Any suggestions?

My mother prefers pac-man,bomber man rip offs or Tetris. For easy platformers, there are stuff like Canabalt or super mario ported for iPads. Of course, your mom might also like easy shooters like tail gunner.

I love Two Dots and Dots & Co.

Seconded for Two Dots, my Mom (mid 60s) has been playing that since it was released and they have been very good at updating it every few weeks with new levels. She also likes a lot of the Solitaire games, I'll have to check which ones.

Edit: Magic Towers is her favorite solitaire game

My mother, 83, likes Words With Friends.

Mom's come in all ages, so it's rather difficult to tell what you're really after.
She's in her 60s and the iPad is pretty much her first experience with technology. So the simpler the better.

I appreciate the responses from everyone :)

Bejeweled. Word games. Crossword puzzles. For the most part my age just aren't interested in shot em up games, driving fast, or role playing. Even if we invented, and were the first ever to play D&D.

I like Bejewelled, Cubis, Sparkle 2, Zuma QuizUp, Crosswords, Solitaire, Mahjong.

For my mother it is mainly solitaire and Magic Puzzles, which are jigsaw puzzles in digital format. Some really nice photos. Hmm.. Pigment coloring.

Farming game called Hay Day.
Farming is oddly relaxing to females. My mom can't get enough of it
