Best gaming mac laptop

Hi,

I want to be able to play hi-spec games on a mac.

I currently have a MacBook aluminium Intel Core 2 Duo 2Ghz, nvidia 9400m and 4GB Ram.

A lot of hi-spec games run a little slow, for example Civilization 5 is a bit jumpy.

I really want a good gaming laptop, I'm not one for sitting at a desk to it defiantly needs to be portable. I would love to get a new MacBook Air however the 13 inch has a lower processor speed than my current MacBook but the fact that it's and i5, does it make it faster? Will that and the upgraded graphics processor made a good difference to the gameplay. I would rather not get a MBP but if its what it takes to have a good gaming experience then I will.

Macbook Air sucks big time for gaming, it doesn't have dedicated graphics. CPU is okay but doesn't help much without good GPU. Top-end MBP 15" would do it but don't expect great fps at high settings. Considering the high price of MBP 15" you'll be a bit disappointed but thats the best you can get on a portable Mac.
