Only had issues when use that player? If yes, better stop using it. Just a player anyway. IINA or VLC usually can do better.
Yes only with this player which is the only one capable of smooth H265 high end quality videos from my camera ....

You have two different problems here.

First is that you still have the original 2.26GHz x55xx Gainestown Xeons, these processors are not supported anymore after 10.14.3. With 10.14.4-6, you have audio stuttering and video playback problems. Your only option is to upgrade to Westmere Xeons. There is an enormous thread about this, use the search.

The second one is the lack of HEVC support for Polaris/VEGA/VII GPUs.

Yes only with this player which is the only one capable of smooth H265 high end quality videos from my camera ....

Then something is wrong. With HWAccel, VLC should able to pay almost any high quality HEVC video easily. At least that’s what happened on my Mac so far.

If in doubt, you can send me some sample videos from your camera, then I can tell you if I can play that smoothly with other player.

can you give me specific option of Westmere Xeons ?

Since you have a dual CPU MP4,1 that uses dual socket Xeons without a lid, you have to delid yourself or buy already delided Xeons. eBay has sellers that sell kits of already delided Xeons with everything ready.

X5677, X5680, X5690 are the most commonly bought.

Hello i found the video proc as a hardware acceleration does anybody have experience with this program?
So if it worths to try it ...

IMO, this software has nothing special.

HWAccel is a system wide function, either all software can use it, or all software can't use it.

VideoProc is handy to confirm if HWAccel is working on a Mac, but it won't provide any HWAccel to any Mac (including cMP regardless which GPU you installed)

So it is not needed the hardware acceleration after all to playback and edit high quality videos , because when i updated at Mojave as first every video was running like a butter at FCP X but after the update( without knowing what was wrong ) the video at FCPX is so sluggish like never was with high sierra and radeon 5870 ... so the only solution is to buy another CPU and not hardware acceleration ...?
Also what is delighted CPU ?

i did the upgrade and now i have a 2 x6-core 3,46Ghz mac pro and the problems with stuttering videos and problem with sound also gone . So it was that apple decided from a point to create problems to the basic cpu series of mac pros .... fortunately there is MacRumors and the community to help the owners , at any other situation i would have my mac pro for sale ...

Apple can't expect you flash a 4,1 to 5,1.

So, we can't say that they intentionally make your original config 4,1 doesn't work well in an unsupported macOS (Mojave).

i have upgraded my CPU and i believe now i can use from 1066 ram to 1333 . I had 8x4gb rams but after the update i inserted only 6 of them . is it better for performance to use the 6 slots and also will it worth to upgrade the rams from 1066 to 1333 ?

Benchmark almost always gets better scores with 6 modules.
Real world for RAM intensive operations almost always performs better with 8 modules.

This is really venturing off topic at this point. Please move further RAM discussions to the RAM threads.

It needs to be said (emphasised?) that @h9826790 has done some granular feature analysis of Video Proc and each of his observations are correct (basically - it's the little things that lie to you). As it stands now, users think it's safe to rely on the software for basic GPU diagnostic information. In essence, they have exaggerated GPU detection and usability for Mac owners. Incomplete or lazy coding will report 'default' detection profiles where user hacks have been implemented to force GPU hardware accel features.
Digiarty does not fall in to my blacklist of incompetent or untrustworthy publishers - maybe they will improve on the integrity of this module in future releases. Fingers crossed.

Best first-party (Apple) supported card:
Apple HD5870

Best cards supported by third party companies:
Sapphire HD7950 Mac Edition
EVGA GTX680 Mac Edition

Some of the other recommendations in this thread are the exact opposite of what you are asking for. They may be "luckily compatible" but that's where you already are. They are not at all "supported" and in at least one case it doesn't have boot screens either.

Note - "Supported" won't guarantee a glitch-free experience. Supported cards, even the Apple one, can cause the fan glitch. Also I seem to remember a thread recently that Apple's High Sierra 680 drivers were broken--don't know if it's been fixed yet.
Finally i boght a 680 mac edition second hand, that brokens after 1 month of use :(

Strange, I was not able to come up with that product in my searches. So I just connect the existing PCIe power cables to that, and that to the video card right?

Thanks!
Took me 5 seconds to find the correct cable.

Thank you all for the important information‘s and your experiences with updating and upgrading your Mac pros! I very liked it! After i bougt a secondhand 680 GTX and it’s broken it’s after three months of use, I decided to buy a new rx 580 suggested by Apple.but I don’t want to have problems by installing and fail valult, so my question: can I let the default graphic card ati 5770 inside and add additionaly the new rx 580? Will the power supply in the system Allow it?

Kind regards to all

You would have to power the rX580 8gb with the TWO x Mini 6pin to ONE x 8pin

You can power the HD5770 with a DUAL SATA to ONE 6 pin = conect this cable to one of your INTERNAL SATA bays.

This may be informative :

The OP doesn't mention what applications they are using but if they are better suited to Nvidia & CUDA rather than ATI Radeon then flashing a GTX680 is simple & it then becomes a GTX680 Mac Edition card with boot screen full support & no need for installing drivers.
Imovie, 3D Blender with Cycles renderer, gimp,

thx

I bought a RX 580 and it worked out of the box. It was a Powercolor Red Dragon with 8 GB.

Running Sierra , 10.12.6.

With Bootscreen?
