Best guess for updates?

What the current best guess for the MBP/MB to get updated?

I need a new laptops very soon and would love a 1440x900 13in MacBook, but if they don't update soon I'm rather scared I might actually have to get the 13in Air, something I'd prefer not due because I refuse to pay extra just for a slim design that I can't upgrade myself at all.
