Best headphones (under £30)

Apple's headphones are pretty rubbish so I was wondering what the best headphones were as an alternative. Nothing too expensive though...

Sennheiser CX300-IIs are a good choice, £16 on Amazon. Just make sure you buy directly from them, not a marketplace seller.

you can get the sennheiser mp50 iphone version (with mic) for less than £30 on amazon. they're superb

It really depends on what you want man. In ear, ear bud, over the ear, etc.

Headphone.com is about the best site to look at this and decide.

The low end Shures are nice. Not sure how much they are. I think they are around $75, so just a tad over your mark, but not much.
