Best iLife year?

I'm wondering which iLife year is best in quality, usability, and overall goodness. I would also like to know which is going to perform best on my PowerMac G4 FW800.

Personally I'd go for '06. Reasonable system requirements and I much prefer iMovie from that suite to the later one in '08 where they changed it drastically.
