Can anyone recommend best place to buy tape to mount an iMac screen? Amazon seems to have various sellers but obviously looking for tape that is correct size and quality. I’m looking for 21.5” iMacs, both 2017 the 4K and base 1080p one.
Would it be best sticking ()to iFixit or OWC?

I prefer iFixit.com - but, I agree, staying with iFixit or OWC should give you good results.

The OWC page can sell you multi-pacs of the tape kits, so if you are doing several, that might be convenient for you.

You also would want to know if you have the proper tool for slicing open the tape. That can help, and iFixit sells that, too. Not sure about OWC.

I bought one kit, with tool, from iFixit for my iMac (2017 4K) but want one for my dads iMac (2017 non 4K)now too. IFixit seems to suggest that the 21.5” iMacs all use the same tape but this one BisLinks® LCD Screen Adhesive Strip Sticker Tape 2012 2013 2014-15 Apple iMac A1418 21.5" https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M36IMHC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RmZBBbYKT959Y from amazon doesn’t mention 2017. Postage from iFixit was pretty expensive. Not that want to scrimp and have a screen fall off.
