Best Instant Messenger program? AIM, Adium, iChat? or ...

I've been using Adium and love it, but with the MBP I have the video thing built in. I was hoping to be able to use ichat so i can use video with my AIM friends. Skype is good but no one i know has it.

how do you get the skype video to be full screen. Also, the audio seems to go in and out. pretty cool so far
