So,
I want to get more hard drive space and was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction.
I'm looking for a minimum of 300 GB. It doesn't really matter if it's 5400 or 7200 rpm.
Is Scorpio from WD still the best option?

I have a 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MBP

Thanks in advance

I did the 320GB WD Scorpio (@5400 RPM) and I'm happy with it.

Got it from Best Buy and installed myself.

Yeah, I have been looking at the 320 GB Scorpio. It looks pretty nice, but I just wanted to know if there is a better alternative or if the scorpio still is the way to go.

Just got WD Scorpio 320 GB in an OWC case, works great. I think the WD Scorpio 320 GB is going for around $140. If you have the 17 inch MBP, you can get the physically (dimensionally) bigger 500 GB. Otherwise I think 320 GB is currently the max for 2.5 inch x 9.5 mm drives. Watch out for those Samsung Spinpoint 2.5 inch and the Hitachi Travelstar 2.5 inch drives, I've read some mixed reviews about both of them.

Thanks for the response man.
