For some reason I didn't get a charger with my iPhone 12. Thank you Verizon, I guess. Looking to get a charger that will save time as the ones I had laying around take forever. Is anyone familiar with the Boltz Pro? It is touted as bypassing the OS and having some memory optimization features that improve performance after charging. WHat's the best charger out there?

It looks ok to me. I also like Anker chargers. Generally speaking, chargers are commodities. Some manufacturers sell them very cheap by skimping on quality internal components, which can make them potentially dangerous. Apple famously engineers the **** out of their chargers and they are subsequently very safe. Anker is also reputable. I've never heard of Boltz before, so I'd be cautious.

Thanks! Your comments are good to keep in mind. I kind of thought they were commodities but safety was not really on my radar, as it should be. Will look into Anker if I see anything bad about Boltz.

It's the fastest speed your iPhone 12 could charge at safely. Even if you bought a 30W brick, it would be capped at 20W by the iPhone itself. So might as well buy 1st party Apple 20W and sleep well at night it won't catch on fire. 🙂
Makes sense. Thanks.

At first I wanted to get a non-Apple 20w charger because its price is halved but after reading comments here on page 1 I've determined to get the official one to avoid the troubles
