Can you post a picture of the bottom, I want to see how big is the space around the headphone port. None of my headphones can fit with my Incase Slider.

i was going back and forth with the rocket fish and the Griffin Reveal case.

i prefer the Griffin $29.99 also available at best buy.
as others have posted, look for "the new iPhone" instead of iPhone 5 cases.

I ordered a seidio case holster combo for my iPhone 5.received it sat.and put it on new phone before it got scratched up. This is my third one 3GS,4s and now 5. Nice cases phone slides in felt lined case put bottom on and good to go.It has a rubber coating on case so it's not slippery. Belt clip works good. Real solid.

I also just discovered and bought the Rocketfish case at Best Buy. If you were a fan of the Incipio NGP case, you'll love this Rocketfish case.

The strange thing is that the black version of the Rocketfish case carried by my local Best Buy has a matte, semi-transparent back. It's just like the Smoke version of the Incipio NGP case for the iPhone 4 and 4S. I actually like this better as the Apple logo shows through the case.

I can't recommend this case enough. I was a big fan of the Incipio NGP case with my iPhone 4S, and I love this Rocketfish case with my iPhone 5.

I checked 3 different BB stores and all they have is the black the OP posted. Even their website doesn't show one like you described.

That is the one I'll be buying. Loved the 3GS version.

you won't regret it.
i've been through a lot of cases before.
The Slider cases are ok but they become too slippery, like a bar of soap:D
( i'm talking about my 3GS experience back in the day)
Anyway, the incipio is good too.

BUT, i want a clear back, to make it distinct.

Goodluck with your purchase! enjoy the 5!

I got this on Friday. Perfect fit, light, thin, and the camera hole is not too big. I was going to use it as a temporary case, but now I'll probably keep it longer.

Can you take a couple pics of it? Especially the bottom on an iPhone.

IMO this is the best case to buy at this time. The speck is OK but it partially covers the speaker/microphone holes.

Waiting for new ones like:
_ Speck ToughSkin
_ Mophie Juice Pack

Maybe a better every day one like this one but a little more protection.

Wow thanks OP I went to bestbuy and got this black case and its awesome. I guess sometimes the cheaper cases tend to be better just like magpul .
Thanks

I also want to thank the OP for the recommendation on the Rocketfish case at BestBuy. It is a very nice case for $22, and it will hold me over until we have far more options available. The Rocketfish case is better than a number of other, more expensive cases that I previously purchased for my 4S.

I don't like the looks of those but I did look at the Speck site and saw the CandyShell, that looks like a nice case. The only thing is I'm not a fan of displaying logos. Is there anything like the CandyShell but without the logo?

I'm really concerned about scratching the outer edges and backing on my phone. Does this case (the black one in the OP) have a soft enough shell to not cause cracking? I normally buy the knock-off rubber cases at the kiosk in the mall because they are 100% rubber and will not scratch the phone in anyway and they provide nice protection around the sides and a little bit on the front (to lay face down).

Thanks in advance for the help.
