Best iPhone speaker/dock?

Seeing as I sold both really old stereos yesterday at a yard sale, and it's my birthday next week my girlfriend is looking to get me a speaker/dock for my iPhone that is small and can easily fit on a coffee table, I'm also looking for great sound too. I've looked at the Bose docks/speakers but those things are ridiculously priced. I'm new when it comes to this sort of thing. I'm also wondering if I should go to a store and play around with one or just go a head and order it online. Any suggestions are appreciated...also a link if possible. Thanks. 😀

B&W Zeppelin got a really good review.

Some docks now accomodate the ipod touch/phone in Landscape orientation, useful if you are going to use it to play video.
