As stated above, X-Chat is very good and probably looks the best.

Is there any irc scripts/clients that work the same way SysReset does on windows (file sharing dcc browser wise)?

I use Colloquy. Tried AkwaIRC and Conversation, neither did it for me.

I'll vouch for Snak any day of the week, but if I had to suggest a free one, XChat Aqua.

I simply can't stand any other Mac IRC client...
