So I've been on a spending spree preparing for the arrival of my new 17" MBP and have yet to buy a laptop stand. I've got the budget to buy pretty much anything so what do you guys recommend???:D

I'll go with the the Griffin model. It is durable. I've been using it on my late 2007 MacBook Pro and it still doing its job today. Never dropped my MacBook because of it. It also doesn't cost that much. Only 39.99 if I'm not mistaken.

The mstand is definitely the way to go. I picked one up while at Macworld this year for my Unibody MBP because my Griffin Elevator wasn't sturdy enough for my taste.

I only have a 13" MacBook, but I've been using the Griffin Elevator Stand (link) which sells for about $40 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It isn't all that expensive, and disassembles real easily if you wanted to bring it somewhere.
